Due to the nature of my work, most feedback is received directly to me, it is then anonymised to protect my clients' privacy.

Due to my increased work through schools, charities and community groups, organisers are asked to consider a google review instead - this is optional, but you may now see some there too.

As the Business Grows, the way I Represent the Testimonials has also evolved...

Trauma Therapy by Trish began by offering just one service (1-2-1 Drawing & Talking using paper & pencil) to schools and private clients.

As the business has grown more services have been added; now seemed the right time to split the testimonials, so that you can easily find what is relevant to you!

Review from a repeat School client

Trish delivers an effective Drawing and Talking intervention that has made a difference across our school. We continue to book her because the impact on pupils is clear. The intervention offers children a safe, consistent, and non-judgemental space where they feel secure to explore and express their thoughts and emotions. As a result, some children who have taken part show increased confidence and a greater ability to communicate their feelings.

From a school perspective, the intervention provides a structured yet flexible approach to supporting vulnerable pupils. It complements our provision already implemented across school and allows us to meet individual needs in a targeted, meaningful way.

Trish is able to adapt and amend certain interventions to ensure the needs of the children referred are met. The pupils feel relaxed and enjoy the sessions whilst always being offered the option to attend so that they use their voice and gain a sense of control.

Trish works professionally and sensitively, building trust not only with the children but also with staff. Her approach strengthens the link between home and school, creating a more consistent and supportive environment for each child.

Review from a repeat Charity client

At Carers Trust Heart of England, we have continued to work with Trauma Therapy with Trish because her approach offers something genuinely valuable alongside our wider support for young carers and families. Many of the children and young people we work with are managing significant responsibilities at home, alongside anxiety, emotional pressure and, in some cases, the impact of trauma. Trish provides a safe, sensitive, and highly relational approach that helps individuals begin to process these experiences in a way that feels accessible and supportive.

From our perspective as a charity, the benefit of working with Trish is that she complements our trauma-informed practice and strengthens our overall offer. Her work adds depth to our support pathways, particularly where young carers or family members need something more targeted than group activities or general wellbeing input alone. We have found her sessions to be thoughtful, child-centred, and responsive to individual need.

The benefit for children, young people and families is that they are given space to feel heard, understood and supported without judgement. Her work helps to build confidence, emotional awareness, and resilience, and can support families to better understand the impact of trauma on day-to-day wellbeing, behaviour and relationships. This is especially important for young carers, who are often balancing their own needs with caring responsibilities at home.

We have also referred individuals for funded 1:1 work where a more personalised intervention was needed, and this has further demonstrated the value of her approach. Being able to access this kind of specialist support through a trusted partnership is incredibly important for families who may otherwise struggle to find the right help at the right time.

We value Trauma with Trish as a trusted partner because she brings compassion, professionalism, and real insight to her work, and because the support she provides makes a meaningful difference to the children, young people and families we serve.

Review from a repeat Holiday Club client (HAF provider)

The workshop's delivered by Trish are fantastic! We have had Trish in to multiple of our holiday camp venues across Coventry and every session allows children to engage in the different activities that she caters for all ages and needs.

The children have the opportunity to express themselves and voice their thoughts and feelings. They thoroughly enjoy the sessions as it is something different and they get a lot out of it. We would 100% recommend Trish's workshops, we think they are great!

Reviews from a Church

REAL was a sleepover event for secondary school children held at Meredith Road Baptist Church, it was a Christian based event supporting young people to Trust in God.  Trish did a session with the young people (about 20 aged 11-18) on focusing on what trust meant to them and giving them the opportunity to draw a representation of trust after the discussion time, each having a chance to contribute.  It was amazing seeing all the young people focused and engaged and some of our quieter ones becoming involved, she made it feel a really safe space where they could share and feel respected, we have invited her back again for this years REAL event.

I have attached some photos of their feedback and a couple of pictures...
